Our salary system is transparent and rewards success-oriented employees fairly.
Performance Management
The annual performance review discusses and evaluates the employee’s development goals as well as job goals, responsibilities and expectations. This process ensures that each individual’s performance and development corresponds to company goals and strategy.
Flexible Job Model
All full-time employees (excl. management and shift jobs) enjoy a 40-hour week with the flexibility to configure presence times for an enhanced work/family/free time balance, depending on job demands.
Part-time Work
Siegfried strives for a balance between work, family and free time by offering part-time positions.
Vacation, Absences
Paid vacation time is at least 24 days per year, depending on age and job class.
Work / Life Balance
In addition to paid 4-month pregnancy and maternity leaves, employees can apply for unpaid vacation time (depending on the job situation and agreement with the supervisor).
Salary Benefits during Sickness and Disability
In cases of sickness and accident, the employee receives a full salary for up to 3 months; and 90% of his/her salary for up to 730 days. Premiums for accident and sickness insurance are paid by Siegfried.
Child & Family Allowances
Each employee with a family is entitled to allowances that include mandatory child allowances.
The Siegfried Pension Fund is one of the most progressive in Switzerland, with comprehensive benefits for financial security for employees and family members in case of death and disability, and provides a secure living standard upon retirement. Currently, the Fund covers 1,050 employees and retirees.
The Pension Fund is contribution-defined, with a basic plan and three supplementary plans: management, bonus and shift work insurance plans.
